How do I install Techflex Flexo F6® without tools? That is the product's main advantage: simply slide your cables through the side opening and tuck them in as you go. The sleeve snaps back to its original shape on its own thanks to its semi-rigid braiding. No cable ties or tape are required to keep it closed.
Is Flexo F6® effective against pet chewing (cats/rabbits)? Yes. The tough PET monofilament braiding offers a very effective physical deterrent. By bundling loose wires into a single, solid, and smooth harness, Flexo F6® makes cables much less attractive to pets, drastically reducing the risk of electrical accidents at home.
What is the best way to cut the split braided sleeving? For a professional, long-lasting installation, we recommend using a hot knife to weld the fibers together. For home use, sharp scissors followed by a quick pass of a lighter flame along the edge will prevent future fraying.
Can I add a cable after it is already installed? Absolutely. Just pull the overlap apart where needed, slide the new wire in, and let go. This makes it the perfect solution for evolving IT setups, home theaters, or modular industrial machines.
