Clean Cut®

CleanCut® Techflex CCP: Anti-Fray Braided Sleeving for Scissor Cutting
CleanCut® CCP is not an ordinary…
Why choose CleanCut® CCP over a standard PET solution?
Adopting CleanCut® CCP transforms your cabling processes into profit centers through operational efficiency:
- Total Field Autonomy: No need for a power source for thermal stations. It's the ideal tool for mobile maintenance and high-altitude installations.
- Increased Productivity: Reduce your harness preparation times by 50% on average. The lack of fraying allows for faster insertion of even bulky connectors.
- Superior Mechanical Protection: The density of the weave isn't just aesthetic; it provides a shield against cyclic abrasion that is far more effective than loose-mesh sleeves.
- Longitudinal Stability: Even under heavy bending tension, the sleeve does not reveal internal cables (prevents the "windowing" phenomenon), ensuring continuous UV and dust protection.
- Operator Safety: Eliminates the risk of accidental burns and inhalation of vapors related to polymer melting during hot cutting.
Technical Spotlight: The Science of "Anti-Fray" Monofilament
The classic problem with PET is its shape memory, which tends to push wires apart after a cross-section. CCP technology uses monofilaments whose diameter (0.20mm to 0.25mm) and surface heat treatment have been specifically calibrated to increase the internal coefficient of friction within the braid. The result? A sleeve that accepts 150% expansion without sacrificing the hold of its ends.
Where to deploy CleanCut® CCP protection?
Thanks to its versatility and cleanliness of implementation, CleanCut® is essential in the most demanding environments:
- Datacenters & IT Infrastructure: Ideal for high-density rack cable management where fiber residues could disrupt ventilation systems.
- Audio-Visual & Broadcast: Custom cable assembly in studios or mobile units, ensuring a high-end finish without heavy tools.
- Automotive & Motorsports: Protection of sensor and instrumentation harnesses during prototyping or rapid trackside repairs.
- Industrial Maintenance (MRO) : Quick replacement of wear sleeves on machine tools without requiring a fire-safe work zone.
- Robotics & Automation: Protection of cables subject to constant multi-directional movements requiring a sleeve that does not degrade at fixation points.
Certifications & Technical Specifications
Choosing CleanCut® from Eurosleeving means ensuring full compliance with global industrial requirements:
- Fire Safety: Self-extinguishing material, compliant with flame spread tests (UL94 V-0 or V-2 depending on reference).

FAQ: Our Experts' Advice
Is scissor cutting really as durable as heat cutting? Yes, provided you use sharp scissors. CleanCut® technology relies on mechanical weaving tension that locks the threads. Unlike a standard sleeve where threads "pop" as soon as they are released, CCP maintains its cohesion even after hundreds of expansion/retraction cycles.
How do I choose the ideal size to prevent cables from showing through the sleeve? To guarantee maximum opacity (avoiding "windowing"), we recommend choosing a nominal diameter as close as possible to the final diameter of your bundle. Although the sleeve can expand up to 150%, it offers the best UV and mechanical protection at its nominal diameter.
Is CleanCut® CCP sleeve compatible with "Zero Halogen" requirements? Absolutely. It is made from halogen-free PET polymers, meaning that in the event of exposure to extreme heat, it will not release toxic or corrosive gases. This is an essential criterion for the rail and aerospace sectors.
