Electrical Insulation Sleeving
Electrical Insulation: Dielectric Protection and High Thermal Resistance
Explore our specialized range of…
Why choose electrical insulation sleeving?
Unlike standard mechanical protection, these sleeves are specifically tested for their dielectric strength. They maintain perfect insulation even under high voltage and constant thermal stress.
Key benefits of our insulating sleeves:
- High Dielectric Strength: Protection against voltages ranging from 1.5 kV to over 10 kV.
- Thermal Stability: Materials categorized by temperature standards (Class F, Class H).
- Exceptional Flexibility: Easily adapts to tight bends in motors and windings.
- Fluid Resistance: Excellent resilience against transformer oils and impregnation varnishes.
- Fire Safety: Self-extinguishing properties to prevent flame propagation.
Our main electrical insulation solutions
Acrylic Flex Glass - Grade A (7000V): Maximum protection for critical applications. With its high dielectric strength, it is ideal for environments where electrical safety is the top priority. It offers superior resistance to solvents and industrial oils.
Acrylic Flex Glass - Grade C (2500V): The versatile and cost-effective solution. While maintaining the thermal properties of fiberglass, it is suitable for applications requiring standard insulation. It is particularly valued for its ease of handling and compatibility with impregnation varnishes.
How to choose the right insulating sleeve?
- Operating Voltage: What level of dielectric protection is required (in kV)?
- Thermal Class: What is the continuous operating temperature (Class F, H, etc.)?
- Chemical Compatibility: Will the sleeve come into contact with varnishes or transformer oils?
- Diameter: Ensure the sleeve slides easily over the conductor while maintaining a proper fit.
